ok i just want to see if anyone thinks i could make it to the camping spot with a 2wd s10 blazer it is slightly modifed 30x9.50 geolanders a/t's mover the breather into the fender i think i can make most of the stuff to the camp spot but i dunno ya'll would.only thing i worried about is the river crossing do you think it could mak it???
We are home! Now that I've checked in, I'm headed to bed because we are worn out! I'll begin loading the pics tomorrow. I hope you guys and gals aren't freezing out there on the beach.
Camping out on the beach turned out great, the temperature didn't drop too terribly low and the wind died down not too long after sunset. We got hit with some rain this morning as we broke camp, but nothing serious.
As usual, it was a great run with a great group of folks, and I look forward to seeing everyone again soon!
I took a few pics from the ride Saturday. I had a great time wheeling with yall and cant wait for the next ride. It was great being around people who love off roading and have a passion for Toyotas, it was a true pleasure meeting all who came, and I look forward to wheeling with yall more in the near future!
pics i got...

Click the photo for about 70 more. The Mrs and I took nearly 300 throughout the day- I deleted a few and posted the highlights. If there are any you like let me know- I can send them to you. I've got lots of sequence photos from Apex's group on the second obstacle.
Like I said before...It was a blast going out with ya'll- Thanks for having me, the wife, and my pick'em up truck.
I would like to thank everyone who came out and made this a ride to remember. I just walked in the door from parting ways with the rest of the group as we said our farewells on the trail and all went out separate ways. The good news of it all is that no one left with anything more than a few more pin stripes so that is a plus. I've got some outstanding pics of the left wheel high area and others that we visited. They will be online soon I'll post up the albumn link and some of the high lite pics here.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways at the last possible moment .... "Old Forester" in one hand, red meat in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming: "WOO HOO!! What a Ride."
First of all, a big thanks to Matt (Apexbasher) and Forrest (dusther) for making this event a blast. From the meat and great with the pig roast to the great trail ride with a camping spot on the beach and shrimp, it was awesome. I met some new people and I have say, It's great to be wheeling with such a great group. Matt, I will be recruiting more Coasties .
Second of all, I took lots of pics and I am not pleased with how some turned out, but here they are:
