It was a blast! Between the food and that Forrest, his wife, and Matt put together along with the trails, you couldn't have asked for a better time.

Well, we're all rested up and after a few hours I managed to get *most* of the pics downloaded.
We had a blast with the Florida crew! I enjoyed wheelin' with some of you we'd met before (Billy, Birdman and Matt) and it was great meeting so many new people...Dusther, duchunter, the Jeepers crew and all the rest.
A special thanks to Dusther for hosting Friday night's events and providing us with a warm bed and yummy breakfast.

Everyone met up before the ride Saturday morning for a quick meeting. While there we learned a valuable lesson about leaving your keys in your FJ--WARNING...they will magically lock themselves in!





Next, our fearless leaders, The 2 Blue Nuts (aka Apexbasher and Dusther) took two groups out for a great day of riding!















We ended the day by driving out to The Point for a really big group photo, then with a fire on the beach where some set up camp and we ate more yummy food, complete with some awesome shrimp that Matt cooked up for us. The bear tracks did not make me sad that we were heading out that night and Birdman was willing to lead some of us out and lend a hand airing back up. Then, we headed back home to B'ham, sad that the day was over, but knowing that we'll be seeing some of you again next month!








Thanks again to Matt, Dusther, Birdman and all the rest of you who organized the event. I can't wait for the next one.
