Re: Florida Hard Rock Roll'n Meet and Greet, Nov 7!

Sorry guys, but I won't be able to make it. I'll be working at the office instead

On the bright side, at least we're this busy in the current economy

Have fun.

Plan on one more. Sorry for the late notice. Life and procrastination are the same thing.

Re: Florida Hard Rock Roll'n Meet and Greet, Nov 7!

I hope everybody made it home safe and sound. What a great time! Thanks to everyone for showing up and allowing me to lead them around this fine park. I'll be posting pictures here soon: Pics from Nov. 7th run at Hard Rock OHV Park, Ocala Florida
I know I said we'd put them in THIS thread, but I believe this will work better in the long run.

As a newbie, thanks to everyone for helping introduce me to trailing. It was fun and educational. I had no idea what great machine the FJ is. There were not many of those areas I would have tried without the encouragement and instruction of how to, get either up or over. I am so very glad I went. Everyone there helped as I watched their various vehicles take on the challenges of the trail. The time with this great group of friendly, easy going, and generous people generated many good ideas about things I want to include as a part of the kit for my unit. The experience and education as to what my vehicle is capable of will provide me with much more future enjoyment. Thanks to Joe, should he read this, for helping get my vehicle fixed so quickly. It was a relief to go home worry free. A special thanks goes out to Matt who led the course for everyone and demonstrated what a really talented, experienced driver can do with an FJ. I will be looking forward to the next outing.

Re: Florida Hard Rock Roll'n Meet and Greet, Nov 7!

Thankyou for the kind words, Sir. It was a good time, and the trails obviously work well for both new and experienced drivers. There were a few little bits that even had me thinking twice (like that little hill at the top of the blue loop). I'm glad to read that you have a new found enthusiasm for your FJ!

(BTW, you should check your PMs. I left you a message about that reverse buzzer)

Looks like a great time. I hated to miss it, but couldn't make it out on Saturday. Did anyone stay overnight Saturday night?
