Anyone Interested?

Anther member suggested that it might be kind of cool if we held a little trail repair class either here at the shop or maybe even on the trail. This member has been on and led a few runs. He suggested it would be a good idea to show some of you the basics of trail repairs and or trail etiquette?

This would also give some of those that are new to off-roading a chance to come out and ask questions and or participate. I could talk to a few vendors that I deal with and see if they would be interested as well.

Topics we could do:

CV axle replacement on the trail.
Pulling the ring gear on the rear axle to get you home or off the trail.
Changing a tire safely on the trail.
Plugging a tire on the trail.
Winching
Trail etiquette and spotting.
we could also do some basic trail driving ( I could talk to Dylan from Icon and see if he would be interested in passing some of his knowledge along, he is after all a 2 time Baja winning driver)

If anyone is interested let me know. Also feel free to add ideas.

That might be a little harder but given enough response I will be up there this year on a couple trips.

Re: Anyone Interested?

I am very interested, to say it politely .

I hope it will be done;
I hope it will be done at a time when I can attend.
I hope it will be done at a time when I can attend and at a distance I can reach.

Thanks Jason for attempting to put this together, this is a great idea. I hope it will be done.....

K.

Re: Anyone Interested?

3 NorCal votes, wahoo! Are you planning any trips north before summer? Otherwise you'll just have to fly to Germany.

This would be awesome Jason.

I would love this kind of training, especially from someone like you.
