I had my old suspension up for sale. A guy on here named Hunter Stine contacted me for the suspension. He sent me 100 and I told him I would pack it up and go to fed ex and let him know how much shipping would be. I lugged all the S&*T down the road and it was 70 to ship.. I talked to the guy on the phone and he seemed cool. He said he would have the rest that weekend. I didn't feel like hauling the 78lb box home so I decided to be nice and send it anyway trusting he would send the rest. Well its been over two weeks and no contact. Yeah, I know. You can't trust ANYONE these days cause EVERYONE is a SH*Tbag now. From here on out I don't trust ANYONE. So just a heads up. Anyone knows that guy on here cut him off.. This guy F'd up though cause I have his address and I have buddies that live 2 towns over.

Beware.. Don't trust anyone.. Everyone is a scumbag these days.. EVERYONE.. Its the new america.. You can't get ahead unless you scumbag people. And he said he's a conservative in passing during small talk.. From this it seems like he leans more toward the other way.. Just saying..

Sounds like he got a $100 deposit... checked on the shipping cost... advised the guy... the guy said he would get him the money by the weekend.... so he ships buddy the parts at a cost of $70 shipping trusting he would get the funds as previously stated.

So buddy got a new/used suspension for $30 essentially. :surprise

OP - Keep poking him until you get your money.

EDIT: There may be another side to the story as well..... just saying.

Hopefully he comes through...

Unfortunately there are more and more of these people in this world. Being 18 I am constantly disgusted by my generation. Not saying that there aren't good young people, and bad old people...

I hope you get your money and there is a good and reasonable explanation.

Cheers

There are plenty of us that you can ALWAYS trust :angel

If you have his email, sign him up for every nasty porn site newsletter you can find. Yes, the research for the newsletters will suck (no pun intended) but the end result could be his inbox flooded with nasty spam. You wont get your money back, but you might feel a little better :)

Maybe, just maybe the buyer's money didn't come through and he is embarrassed. Give the guy another chance and hear his side of it

Was just saying on my dog walk this morning, you can't trust most people, most people are deceptive to some degree, yes I wish I lived in the boonies and had little to no contact with people in general. Dogs are the best.

Unlike all the hate mongers, I think most folks are descent and trustworthy.
I accidentally left my rig unlocked all weekend at Jambo with hundreds of dollars worth of gear inside and no one touched a thing.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience and it's unfortunate that this happened, but you gotta admit you left yourself open
to be taken advantage of when you made the decision to ship without payment because you "didn't feel like hauling the 78lb box home".

Lesson learned.

So he's a liberal because he didn't pay you money you were owed?

Maybe something happened to him, or maybe he's a lowlife. Either way, I'm pretty sure there are thieves on both sides of the political spectrum.

Sorry that happened to you, but generalizations like that are what allow our system to continue to be broken.

Uhh that sucks BUT, don't give up on your fellow man, most people are good. For example, your action were made with GOOD intentions( your good heart got ahead of your good logic )..remember, you're a 'people' too lol. I'm sorry it happened to you. I've felt that pain myself. Lets hope he does his part and pays you.

I agree with what some are saying they're still good people around. Not too long a ago a bought a pair of 6.5" used speakers for the fj in another forum ,i told the guy to make sure and pack the speakers very good so they don't get damaged during shipping and he exceeded my expectations in packaging them very good, up on arrival i quickly tested the drivers in a home amp and they powered and sounded great meaning i didn't buy crapped out speakers which is a risk when buying used drivers from person to person at your own risk.

I sent him a private mail telling i was happy with the purchase and how well he packed the drivers to where there was very if any risk of drives getting damage with all that packing material and heavy duty bubble wrap, i also told him because of this Im will most likely get back with him about a used amp he also had for sale , he then told me he was not going to use that amp on any project car so he could ship it out to me with out an agreement of buying just to test it out and if it worked for me i could then send him the payment for that amp but if didn't fit or work for my application i could just ship it back , i told him was going to free up some $$ first and buy it on the spot , but that appreciated the offer and trust.

Its not good to take advantage of good people because the law or karma would be applied and what you do to others will come back to you , some times 10 times stronger be good or bad.

Maybe you shouldn't give handouts to people who live in Canada or the US. Both countries have enough opportunity for the people to find work and not have to beg.

Easier said than done boss. plus our country would rather help the refugees than its homeless.
