Ive had a total nightmare with these guys. I bought a light bar off of ebay, in which they said they had 2 instock. They had none in stock. I paid for USPS Priority (2-3 day) after waiting 2 weeks. It was sent snailmail and it wasnt even the light bar, it was hoop steps. Communication with them is rare, they wont respond to my emails and I still havent gotten my money back. You've been warned.

It has been almost 2 months now with no resolution so far....
I bought a Carr lightbar (I wont recommend them either because I am getting the same run-around from them too) off of Ebay from RUK Industries. They said they had 2 instock. I paid for it plus 2-3 priority mail. I got an email 3 days later saying they had none instock. After 2 weeks I got a package UPS. It was truck steps and not a light bar. After another week, I finally got a reply from the guy saying he is going to email me a call tag so the Fed-Ex guy can pick it up.
"Dear Brad,
Are you out of town, if so what is a good email I can send a call tag for these to so they can put it on the box, if you cannot give me one the no worries I will try and send out a driver they just charge 15.00 to do that so I am trying to avoid that. Again I am sorry but Carr shipped you the wrong order and someone else got your light bar and they were upset too. But that was not our customer and you are so I would appreciate it if you would let me know what I can do to make it better, if you need anything else give me a call and you will get it at my cost plus shipping and any fees to make up for this. I appreciate you letting us fix this for you as we try to make every customer happy no matter what. Thanks and let me know what I can do. Seriously let me help you out."
Two weeks later, its still sitting there. My email to them:
"Dear rukindustries,
I sent you an email 2 weeks ago. I have yet to get a reply and I got a call from my apt office yesterday saying the package was still there. I demand a refund immediately. This is the ****tiest experience I have ever had on ebay."
No reply..... My next message
"Dear rukindustries,
I was left with no choice but to leave negative feedback. I feel you used the "I'll send someone to pick the package up" line to decieve me. I called CARR today and they dont have you listed as one of their dealers. I did file a report with the BBB as well. My claim with paypal was dropped as I had no tracking number to provide them with shipping back to you. I also left a review of your company on my forum board, fjcruiserforums.com, an online community with 30,000 members. Thanks for taking my money and ripping me off. "
AHHHHHH, Now I get a response......

Carr, the company that has messed everything up on this order is sending a call tag to you for this item. They may have sent it to your address I will check on this. This has already been refunded has it not? If not I will refund it immediately for you."

Sorry about this we have not tried to deceive you on this we are working with Carr on this to get this solved for you and they are the ones sending you the Call tag as you can see the item came direct from Carr. I am sorry about this and will give immediate refund on this no problem but the egg is on my face because Carr told me they had sent a call tag to your address over 2 weeks ago and I thought this was all done. Please remove the negative feedback and I will refund immediately for you. Or if you feel like you don't want to then I will refund it once we get the package back and check it out. Again I am sorry but will get this taken care of for you please let me know what you want to do. I will send an thing to revise feedback and the for your trouble refund an extra $10.00 to make it right for you. Will that be ok?

Now he wants to hook me up with some free ish... to take my negative feedback off. I talked to a lady at Carr who says she doesnt know who RUK Industries is. They arent a vendor. She called me back a few hours later after I gave her some details. Turns out, the order was placed by a 4 Wheel Parts store in Colorado. So RUK took the order, gave it to 4 Wheel Parts, who inturn placed the order into Carr, who dropshipped straight from their mfg facility. Save yourself a headache, and dont buy from these guys. My 2 cents.

ebay has gone from protecting the buyer to all the way to protecting the seller....which means sellers can scam now vs buyers...they essentially reversed through the years.
way to go brad....i know a company that would be more then happy to have your buisness.....by the way, thanx for not calling me again at 5:45am brother!!!!!

The saga continues... Its been awhile now since I've heard anything from these RUK douchebags. I got 4 or 5 "Change-Your-Negative-Feedback-For-Free-Stuff" emails and then they stopped. I check my work email today and find this gem:
Dear Brad,
This item was shipped out to you again, and you received a refund on this.
This item needs to be returned to us immediately, you told Carr to ship you
another one when you asked us for a refund. We will have no choice to
report you to paypal and call the local police on this matter. We have the
tracking number to show that it has been received. Do you wish us to rebill
you for this item or should we pursue the same action as you have done to
us?

That's funny, because I never got a refund from them. I mean, I asked for a refund for a month straight and they blew me off. Just to be sure, I double checked my paypal money recieved. No refund, just like I thought. I got the lightbar. A rep from Carr contacted me personally and worked it out. You can tell how well they stay on top of their business. My reply to RUK:

I never recieved a refund from you. And just by chance I did and missed it, I checked my paypal and checking account for the past 2 months, just to make sure. I did not recieve a refund from you. I did get the light bar. I welcome you to contact your local police department. Once again, thanks for nothing.

Take my word, stay away from these guys. Addis, Im on days off, so Im living like normal people do, sleeping nights and such. You coming to the bachelor party or what? I am still kicking myself in the nutz for not contacting you about a lightbar. I still need one, Im not feeling the Carr one since I got it in. I dont want to drill holes in my roof to put a lightbar on, so I am going to give the thing away to anyone who wants it.

It's always a crap shoot on ebay these days. : ( Sorry to hear you had such a poor experience with RUK. I was actually thinking about buying one from them so at least I can learn from your experience. Thanks for posting this thread on hear to make us aware of how RUK does business. I will for sure steer clear of them after reading this thread.
PS I'd like the light bar & I just sent you a PM about it.
