By the way, I'd still be happy to work with Inchworm to try and correct the issues I've had. I'd really like to be able to provide a more positive customer service feedback on them. However, to be honest with you I'd be surprised if they even had a record of my order, my phone number (even with over 10 phone calls to them), my email address, or even recall my issues/concerns over the failed gear set I spoke with them about in October...they were way to busy and worried about catching up on orders which they were 6 months behind on to care about supporting their product.
If you do decide to order an inchworm lefty case I suggest ordering directly through inchworm and not one of their vendors as they will refuse to support the product that their vendor sells you.
Just a quick note on my experience with Inchworm. They have been great with me and the few issues that I have had. And I didn't even buy my case from them. I got mine used, so being used I had lots of questions and needed some parts replaced. Jonathan was very responsive with emails and phone calls. That's all for now, sorry your experience was different.

As I mentioned in my previous post there are many who have been happy with their customer service and thats good to see, but at the same time there are many who have had issues with their product support/customer service - whether it being that you got Trail Gears instead of Marlin Gears, receiving missinformation on options, or purely not supporting the product that he built when its under warrenty and wanting to charge the customer for him to rebuild the case.
I know this was the situation for myself and Werpogo when the cases we purchased through Jim's dealer failed. Even though both cases were under warranty it basically showed the warranty meant nothing was pretty much useless in my opinion.
I'd be happy to hear from Inchworm and have them correct or at least address my customer serivce concerns. Myself and others I'm sure could appreciate the fact that they would be making an effort in coming to a resolution dissatisfied customers.
In the end Marlin ended up supporting Jim's/Inchwroms product better than Jim himself. The guys at Marlin were also more knowledgable about case optoins, showed concern over the failed case, and actually wanted to get it in their possesion to understand the failure mechanism (something you'd think Jim would have wanted to do). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the guys at Marlin or Wyatt @ Rocksolidtoys if you are in the market for a Lefty case.
I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I do think it's important for people to hear from more than one person when making a judgement on a vendor. Again, I'm not making light of your situation but I do feel it's important for others to hear good comments as well.
I would agree that that the people at Marlin are great to work with. I think they have a large an knowledgebly staff.
Completely agree with you its great to get multiple perspectives. As noted 1911 & FJinCO have had good expereices with them. I came away with an "ok" opinion of opinion of Inchworm after my case initially showed up with missing parts...which then took over a week to get a hold of, but they did correct the issue so I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
However, through my recent dealings with them it seems like I received the same poor customer service that Werpogo and BoxonWheels had mentioned in the past. Inchworm makes the plates for the case so they get their money one way or another whether you order through Inchworm or Marlin.
However, if you one does decide to order an Inchworm case, I again recommend to do it directly through Inchworm, so that they honor their warranty...if you order an Inchworm case through one of their dealers the warranty is not valid according to Jim and basically useless.
Mine has not leaked yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. I had to smash it more than SOL did with his inchworm dual cases. The marlin is a little longer and I believe I smashed mine anther 1in.
I figure if it starts to leak some silicon or something similar will get me home.
If it were to leak, do you think it would look something like this??
