Re: Install of VSC cancel switch

^^^^^^ This mod was discovered in lieu of the Atrack hack. So I'm juessing if you do not have a locking rear diff it will not work. Sorry for your pains I will edit my post

Re: Install of VSC cancel switch

NP, i can still go into the purple wire at the 2 pin connector plug on front of the Brake master,, will try that tomorrow and update everyone. will just have to settle for having to cycle my key to reset the system.
I'll let you know

Re: Install of VSC cancel switch

Ok. I did the Mod where you interupt the Purple wire at the 2 wire connector at the front of the master brake sylinder and it works just have to cycle the Key on and off to reset it. this will work but would have rather done it the other way.

hope this helps.

Re: Install of VSC cancel switch

still I feel that it is wrong

the right one is should show " VSC OFF " only this is the right cancellation for traction

My Question is what is the wire that give signal to show VSC OFF when you shift from H2 to H4 ??

if you can answer this question right you can really enjoy your life

Re: Install of VSC cancel switch

my scion had that trac button off ......makes me wonder if they put it on a 18k car why not on a fj? we had the extra button space, in the scion it was on the left side of the steering wheel and the fj has those buttons there as well as blanks, and to my knowledge if you buy the "ultimate fj" from Toyota it only comes with one of those spots filled and the other still with a blank...correct me if i am wrong

Re: Install of VSC cancel switch

I found a way to cancel the only it turns ON the light as if you shift it on 4H

but still the traction works
