Same FJ engine with part time, manual

2010 shows that toyota can offer part-time system with combination of manual transmission on other line up models

"2010 Land Cruiser Station Wagon"
The LC79 Petrol Pick Up is now fitted with a new generation all aluminium 4.0 litre V6 engine – the 1GR-FE unit that has proved so successful in the Hilux and Fortuner models. This engine produces 170 kW, an improvement of 5% on the previous 4,5 litre engine, with 360 Nm of torque. Aside from increased power, this new generation engine provides for improved operating efficiencies together with significantly lower emissions.

this is the same engine we get in our FJs though 6 speed manual is not offered with part-time 4x4 transfer case yet..why?
fulltime is great system though part-time is much fun
if toyota can offer 4.0L engine with part-time manual 6 speed FJs
that's will be the best choice for me

Re: Same FJ engine with part time, manual

I'd rather have permanent 4WD on my auto model-just like my old Prado....

Toyota, you know it makes sense!
