FJ-80 Land Cruiser - Expedition Ready

Sadly, it is time. It runs, drives & wheels great! It is a good tow vehicle, it's just not a great tow vehicle for our new heavy camper. If it wasn't for the camper, I wouldn't ever consider selling it.

1991 Land Cruiser FJ80
Bulletproof 3FE/A442 drivetrain
ARB lockers F&R
4.88 gears
141,000 miles
less than 10,000 on BFG AT(KO) 33x12.5 on black rockcrawlers
head gasket done at 125,000
valves adjusted 3 months ago
new radiator
new alternator
new thermostat
Birfileds repacked, all new Toyota parts (including bearings)
new brakes F&R including master cylinder & BPV
trans just completely pressure flushed
optima yellow top
lots of other odds & ends

OME Heavy duty suspension
Kaymar (Australian) rear bumper w/swing-away carrier
7-pin connector
TOOL sliders
ARB front w/winch
Safari Snorkle
Surco Bread Basket
IPF 860CS lights
upgraded stereo, speakers, CB, etc.
JDM Jesus bar
flares removed & holes brazed
Fresh OEM Silver paint with some scratches & one fresh Takeover tree rub
Driver's seat has a tear on the corner, other seats (middle & rear rows) fine.
Leather on E-brake handle cracked & worn
factory sliding/tilt sunroof works fine, no leaks

************SOLD********************

Here's a few for entertainment...

Chris, what's the model year, and is it leather or cloth inside?

Well, the year would help wouldn't it?

*edited to indicate 1991

Grey houndstooth cloth interior- good-to-average condition. One tear on drivers side and one thin area on drivers side... fortunately new covers are available from SOR.

Leather can likely be arranged, but it would be costly.

There are lots of pics on the link, but I couldn't fully caption them in photobucket. I have the narrative to go with them I can email, and of course I can take additional pictures of anything desired.

Re: FJ-80 Land Cruiser - Expedition Ready

Thanks, Chris - I'm actually looking at a friend's 1994 FJ-80 that he's considering selling, but he has a couple of other buddies thinking about buying it as well. I'll know more this weekend, and will likely get back with you and see if it's still available next week.

Otherwise, you shouldn't have much trouble selling that truck.

Re: FJ-80 Land Cruiser - Expedition Ready

I appreciate it sir! It's very well built and well cared for and I have a good amount of documentation- it's a Texas Crusier originally purchased in Austin.

Where abouts in C.TX? Ever get out to Katemcy?

*edit- forgot to add the all important birfield repack last year with all new parts including bearings
