2000 Chev ZR2 p/u with 25,519 miles SOLD!!!

I am going to buy an FJ, but first I have to sell my truck.

I am selling my 2000 Chevy S10 Fleetside, extended cab ZR2 pickup. I bought this truck new in March 2000. Since then I have put a grand total of 25,519 miles on it. (I have a company car that I can use when off duty, so the truck sits in the garage.)

Extended cab has 3rd door on drivers side, fold down jump seat behind passenger seat. V-6, auto, air conditioning, AM/FM/CD stereo, 4 wheel drive, aluminum alloy wheels, BFG off road tires, cruise control, power locks/windows, ZR2 wide stance package (off road shocks, skid plates, wider axles), LS package, sliding rear window, A.R.E. fiberglass cap (carpeted) on the back with a hinged front window, Removable Thule rack on the cap, carpeted bed liner, Tube steps on both sides. This truck lived in a garage for the past 8 years. It was only driven on sunny days and a couple of winter days to go ice fishing. I used it a couple of times to tow my boat (16' Smokercraft/75hpMerc) and it doesn't have any problem towing. Has a regular receiver hitch, not a bumper mounted ball. It's a good truck, but I don't use it and it's losing value sitting in the garage. Hopefully there is someone out there looking for a dependable ride with some off road capability. Asking $12,500 due to the low mileage and condition of the truck. PS.... I don't smoke, so the inside of the truck isn't all smelly.....

Located in Southbury, CT. Shoot me a PM or email if interested.

Re: 2000 Chev ZR2 p/u with 25,519 miles

KBB high is $9375 and NADA high is $13,600, so I split the difference. This truck lived in a garage and is really good shape. I'm not going to trade it in on the FJ because a stealership won't give me anything near what it's worth.

By the way, thanks for posting it on the ZR2 forum. I used to belong to one a couple years ago and I know people were always looking for trucks, but I don't remember what the web address is.

So, is it $12,000 or $12,500?

I posted to a TX based ZR2 site (but most of the members are from all over the US).

You can also try registering on ZR2USA.com > RPOZR2: 10 years of production. A lifetime obsession and posting there.

I'd bet some of those guys would be interested, especially since it's no longer made and it's so low on mileage.

HTH,
Sean

Re: 2000 Chev ZR2 p/u with 25,519 miles

Thanks Sean....typo...I hit the 0 one time too many...it's $12,500.00

Because you did such a nice job posting on the ZR forum for me, leave it at $12k....I appreciate your help!

I tried joining that forum but I couldn't get it to activate. They wanted me to email a photo of my ZR2 and it wouldn't go to the address they gave me.

Ya, they "need" proof you actually own a Z or S10 or you can't join (well, unless you are sponsored by a member). Sorry, don't know why the address didn't work. I'll let them know there's a problem.
