Those of you after the original fairlead that I've designed to look like the FJ Cruiser grille, I have ordered material and will be making more of those soon.
Should have shipped already, but the red didn't make it past post-anodize inspection this time. The edges didn't take the dye, so I am having them re-done. They will be a few more days. Sorry for the delay! @slo4x4 @Loganbeere
I wanted to buy a red Hawse Fairlead but noticed your warning that colored fairleads may fade with light exposure. I bought a red one from a different vendor and after a year it looks closer to a pink color :frown
I may have to order a black one since you say it won't fade.
The anodizing company I use is very good, and run by a professional chemist with an impressive education, so I'm quite sure our red is much more lightfast than what you have experienced. You can prolong this with a UV protectant spray like 303 Aerospace protectant or Armor All as well. The way the dye is sealed into the pores can affect how lightfast the finish is too.

I might just do it for you anyway... have to see how things go these next couple weeks before I can decide if I can afford to have the rest of the bar taking up space in the shop!
