Socal I'm looking for a 82-88 Toyota for a F-Toy conversion.
Like the title says I am looking for a donor truck or 4runner for a future Ftoy conversion. I would prefer straight axle and EFI but I will take later models with IFS or earlier models with carb. I dont care what condition the body is in because it will all be cut off. I am on a budget so I am hoping someone knows of one sitting in a friends driveway that they want to get rid of "cheap". PM me if any of you guys have an idea.

85 is the year you want to get EFI and SFA in one.
I will keep my eye out for one. There great trucks.

Seen a lifted extra cab standard bed in Anaheim today. 86 5 spd efi. No sfa though. Said asking 3900.00 was in average condition at best.

Tony is right I am hoping for one around $1000. My buddy just picked up a truck that had been rolled for $400. I am not super picky. I can straight axle it if it has IFS. If it is carb then I will propane it. It also is alot easier with carb because you can ditch the computer. I have been rewiring my brothers computer on his 85 4runner and taking out all the wires that we dont need. I will post some pics of his buggy soon.

What we have here is a pretty sweet Toyota 4-Runner.
It is 4x4, 5-Speed, with less than 100K on the new motor. It is already ready for the great outdoors, as it comes lifted (suspension lift) with large (33") tires. Custom front & rear bumpers add to the beefiness.
The interior is what you would expect from a 20-yr old vehicle, but the bed is nicely carpeted and perfect for storage or a quick nap. Up top, there are flood lights and a really nice, functioning rack that can store a load of stuff for those long trips.
The 4x4 works nicely, especially once you lock up the hubs. This bad boy goes anywhere you want, even some places you don't. One place you do want to go is the lake or ocean, and you can take your boat with you, because this 4-Runner comes with a trailer hitch!
