That really is a smokin' deal...

I think I paid $160 all told for one pair... and they are great chains.

Lenny: have they been trimmed? what size originally? what size tire did you trim them too?

I may buy them myself just because if nobody else snags them...

They were not trimmed - only wired back (didn't want to burn any bridges) to fit 265/75 16s. They seem like they will fit quite a bit bigger, but I am only going off what the bag says.

Maybe if I can include a pic of what they will do...........

Re: Heavy Duty V-Bar tire chains with Cams

Hey Lenny,

I am pretty interested. How heavy are they approximately, for the shipping? I'm up in Canada, and yes we do have a fair bit of snow right now.

My tires are stock, I will have to check what size that is (laying around with my laptop as I write this). I joined the forum a while back but I think this is my first post. Jeez I hope they've not sold yet!

Re: Heavy Duty V-Bar tire chains with Cams

They are not sold yet. They are HEAVY - I can check into what it will cost to ship, but I am really guessing that it won't be practical.

If you get back to me quickly with a location, I can check when I am out today.

Thanks for the interest,

Jarrod

Re: Heavy Duty V-Bar tire chains with Cams

Thanks, I'll send you a PM right now with my address. I am thinking UPS Ground might be the cheapest... worth getting a shipping quote anyway, hopefully it's practical!
