Looking at some new tires for my 3" lift

Hey everyone, I'm new here, I just got a new Fj because I was in an awful wreck with my Tacoma and its totaled and I wanted something new. I'm getting a procomp 3 inch lift kit and I'm looking at some tires and wheels to accompany it.

Just trying to get some suggestions and see what other people have and like. Thanks.

you might want to look at Toyo Open Country M/T. I've put about 50,000 miles on mine and have been very pleased with them on and off road.

Kumho road venture kl78 All Terrains are very nice, and not very expensive (136$ each at tire rack for 285/70/17)

Re: Looking at some new tires for my 3" lift

I have a set of Nitto Trail Grapplers and Terra Grapplers for our FJ.

Nitto Trail versus Terra Grappler (pics)

If I had to choose between the two, I would pick the Terra Grapplers for overall useage.

What size terra grapplers do you have and how much did you pay?

Re: Looking at some new tires for my 3" lift

The terra grapplers are 285/70/17, I have bought so many tires this year that I really can't recall the exact price. It was very reasonable.

Contact the guys at Discount tire and they will hook you up

Re: Looking at some new tires for my 3" lift

Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac 285/70-17

I'm running these and so far i'm really liking them. They're pretty quite on road for an aggressive AT tire..
