Re: Most aggressive tread on a/t tire?

I went with the D. Cepek Cun Country II because of the aggressive tread.

Out of the big brand names, BFG AT KO looks the best with the most aggressive tread.

Re: Most aggressive tread on a/t tire?

we all know that one of the main drawbacks of a mud tire is its lack of wet traction due to absence of siping. is it conceivable that someone could sipe an MT tire and get the best of both worlds?

Yup, done all the time. I did not sipe mine (Firestone Destination MT) because the rubber compound also makes a difference in rain.

Re: Most aggressive tread on a/t tire?

The D_ck Cepek FC-II has the most agressive AT tread. It is between an MT and AT, more of a hybrid tire. The other AT's don't clean so well in mud and snow. It is sipped and should wear similar to an average AT.
