Trail Grapplers + Sipping?

Anyone out there have their Trail Grapplers sipped? I am undecided.

Looks like everyone says that it def. increases traction in wet, but mixed reviews on wear/mpg.

Anyone have them and think that it is unnecessary for the Trails?

Re: Trail Grapplers + Sipping?

I have put 5k miles on my grapplers, many of which in rain and mud. In rain they seem very good, I haven't noticed much of a difference vs dry. Snow will be interesting, and that will be coming soon. In mud they tend to slide a lot, more then I would like. Then again it is wet slick mud, so that's going to happen. Personally I would be worried about the longevity of the tread after siping but who knows for sure on that.

Re: Trail Grapplers + Sipping?

Here's some good information on siping. Longevity and MPG will not be affected.
