Re: Firestone Destination 285/70/17. No lift. No chop. Yet.

I love the ride. It's sticky, for lack of a better word. Feels like I'm driving on suction cups.

The wind noise was worse than the tire noise this morning. It's windy today. I can hear the tires, but it's not bad at all. In fact, I rather enjoy the very soft hum.

Lots of rain today. I just got home. These are still glued to the road. The Uni-T that Firestone / Bridgestone uses is a compund in the rubber causing it to stick to wet pavement better. IMO, it is a welcome thing in an MT if you live in anyplace with a lot of rain.

Great looking tires, Dragon. I've been a fan of Firestones ever since having them on my F150 back in '92.

People still think about blowouts when they hear the name Firestone but that whole deal was due to driving with them underinflated. Have no fear, Firestones are great tires.
