Goodyear SilentArmor vs. AT Adventurer

Hey guys, after looking over Goodyear's website and I doing a quick search (with nothing stuck out as answering the question), could anyone give me a run down of the major differences between Goodyear's SilentArmor and AT Adventurer tires?

I'm looking at either sticking with a 265/75R16 or moving to a 265/70R17. Living in SoCal I primarily do a lot of surface street driving with the odd trail drive or trip to the mountains for some skiing. So road noise and mpg are in the back of my head.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Goodyear SilentArmor vs. AT Adventurer

I wasnt sure if the SA's had Kevlar belting or not...

I think the Adventure looks better though having slightly more distance between thread blocks, especially on the shoulder. I would bet the Adventure would give a little more noise though, if there even is any.

Re: Goodyear SilentArmor vs. AT Adventurer

I've got the Adventures in 285/70r17. They are silent, though I've only got ~1000mi(less) on them. Only been off road once and it was quick and light, but they did pretty well in the mud and they do great on wet roads

Wet Okole Seat Covers | Kenwood DNX6160 | TRD Exhaust | K&N Drop-In Filter | Add'l 12v "always hot" | Add'l interior lighting | Rear Diff-Lock-on-demand hack | Metal Tech Rear Bumper | Beltronics V6 | 56" CUSTOM Hi Lift | Stubbs Welding Deluxe Sliders | Eibach/Toytec Leveling Coils | Goodyear AT Adventure 285/70r17

More to come...

Yeah, I read that review yesterday before I posted. Thanks for alerting me to it though. Yeah, all the reviews I've seen on them have been positive, but none have been after an serious mileage have been put on them...

Re: Goodyear SilentArmor vs. AT Adventurer

My Hilux has done just over 60,000km with the Good Year Wrangler ATSA. They still look brand new. Very nice tyre.
