Talking confirmed: 35" MT mtz's fit (with some mods)

update on my progress:
I now have my new 35" MT baja MTZ's mounted on 17x9" gear alloy 713mb double pumps. I had the body mounts chopped and a skyjacker 3" lift installed as well. The tire/wheel combo fits and fills the wheel wells nicely. Minor rubbing on full turn of the front wheels on the upper control arms but no rubbing on the chopped body mounts. The "sidebitters" of the tires is the part that rubs slightly on the upper control arms. I believe this would be completely fixed if I were to buy aftermarket upper control arms, but I can live without them for the time being. the spare did not fit while inflated but it does fit when deflated and rests on the rear bumper. Obviously, I'll need to buy a portable inflation device to use the spare, but I prefer this option rather than construct or buy a spacer due to fear that the mounting bracket may be stressed with the added weight of the 35" tire if its not resting on the bumper.
can't wait to take some pics but currently the weather sucks in PA now and I'm going to clean my new and approved fj.

Hey Titan that's great news as I'm about to install 35's on my rig. I was going to go with Toyo MT's but I'm leaning towards the ProComp Xtreme Muds now. They've gotten really good reviews. Good luck with the rig and look foward to the pics.

P.S. Do you have an aftermarket bumper on or stock?

Understandable.. The lack of funds part. How hard is it to put the winch in after installation?
