Size Advice w/3" OME Lift

So I'm about to install a 3" OME lift to help accomodate front & rear Warn bumpers & winch. At the same time, I'm also planning on swapping out the silly stock tires (which have all of 400 miles on them!) for BFG AT KO's.

I'd like to run 'em a little wider - 285's, say - and a little taller, but I'm not entirely sure, after reading previous posts, just how tall I can reasonably expect to go without either undue rubbing (without cutting metal) or handling/gearing issues.

Anyone with a similar setup have any advice? Any input appreciated.

Re: Size Advice w/3" OME Lift

Given what you are about to do...lift, etc. A 285 size BFG KO will fit comfortably with no cutting. Sure maybe 295s can squeeze...not sure if tire avail. in that size anyway...but I think you'll be happy with 285s mounted on your rig once lifted with OME suspension.

Good Luck and do post up your results!

Re: Size Advice w/3" OME Lift

ditto above advice i am fixing to do the same thing and run the 285/70/17 cooper discoverer stt's. can probably squeeze the 295's but will ultimately have to chop the body mounts.
