Biggest tires that will fit a stock fj

Hi im wondering what is the biggest size tire availabe for a stock fj cruiser. I really would like to change my stock tires to something bigger but am not willing to life my FJC. So what tire will fit the fjc without rubbing.

Search Button would be the answer.......

From what i have read most 285's will fit with no rubbing.

+1 on searching for similar threads and the 285's for no lift.

From what I have read, the width of the tire is the limiting factor where it will rub the front body mounts. Some people have said that they have gone to 33" and stayed narrow (10.5")and don't have problems.

The 285's are (barely) narrow enough to fit the stocker. I ran them for nearly 4 months before getting lifted (OME) and no problems, even off-road.
