BEWARE!! Wheeler's Offroad PRO COMP WHEELS

I got wheels from Wheeler's Off Road the wagon wheels that seem to fit the FJ and clear the caliper. The wheels are defective. The lug holes are drilled off center. This caused a vibration throughout the truck that as you know cannot be fixed by balancing. Wheelers has been dicking around and has not taken the wheels back to send back to pro-comp. If you are planning on buying wheels from wheelersoffroad think twice. Pro-comp no-longer makes this wheel and has completely cut them selves off of it. My guess is because they know the wheels had problems. The only person you will be dealing with if you get a bad set of rims is wheelers and that, as far as i have experienced so far is a dead end. Save your money and buy something from a reputable dealer or a wheel that is not discontinued. I am now stuck with 220lb of steel in the shape of wheels.

Sorry to hear about your wheel troubles and thanks for the headsup. Good luck, I hope Wheeler's off road ultimately makes it right for you.

is it all your wheels or just one. wheelers-offroad is a great resource and have very fair prices. I seen those rims on alot of rigs and are they trying to exchange or do anything about it.

You're talking about the 16" steel wheels?

Pro-comp makes several 16" steel wheels what ones are you talking about? I own 16" steel pro-comps that are fine.

Re: BEWARE!! Wheeler's Offroad PRO COMP WHEELS

I bought my Procomp Series 87 wheels (same ones you have) from America's Tire Co and they are just fine, no issues. America's Tire ordered the wheels directly from Procomp and they are not considered discontinued, but rather they only build the wheels when they get enough orders for them. If you haven't already, I'd suggest that you call Procomp directly and explain the issue to them and see if they are willing to help you out. I hope you get everything worked out.
