I just ordered the same wheels for my Ti yesterday. I bought five 17x9's for my 285 Goodyear MTR's. American Tire co said that there are only 30 rims being sent to Pro Comp before they go on backorder. After my purchase... there are 20 that have been spoken for. They also went up in price from $137.99 to $150. Five wheels, gorrilla lugs, shipping was $850 or so.
For all the people looking at the Teflon wheels... American Racing is switching manufacturing facilities however, the wheels are scratching and cant really be repaired. I really wanted some Chambers or Thugs but the Pro Comps are powder coated and will be able to be repaired if needed.
I must say, I remember when you joined the forum and I rather too quickly dismissed you as a "mall crawler". Not that I was trying to be judgemental, but we all do this human classification, sizing up each other, round peg square hole kind of silly thing in our head, right or wrong, seems to be our nature. That being said, I was wrong about you and you FJC in the beginning. You and your rig have really grown up and I truely admire how you embrassed the sport my friend.
Two things I have relearned from you.....never let first impressions be the only impression and even Sun Fu's can look really cool.
I like what you have done with your truck, I appreciate your easy going style, and am glad you are here. Rock on Dragon.

PS: Hope that wasn't too sappy, I just realized you have paid me many complements and I have not returned the favor as often as I should.
Thanks man. I appreciate that.

Excellent choice for your truck. Stick to the all black wheels.
What have you done with your old ones? Have they been thrashed and trashed ?
Thanks. The stocks were thrashed, but I found a home for them

Great choice on wheels, you have a great looking rig. Do you know what the part number is for the Gorilla Lugs?
um....no, I don't but here is the website Gorilla Automotive Products and if you PM CruiserLarry, he could give it to you.

Thanks for the info. Nothing was easier to touch up than the home painted stock alloys. These should not be bad. The good thing is the face? of the wheel is inset, and not flush with the tire like the stock. They should not need touching up except for the very outside lip. ...I think.
Very Nice setup, I really like the look of those wheels too. If I didn't have the TRD's...ummm. Great looking Rig Dragon, can't wait to see it in person; thanks for posting
