Re: Mickey Thompson Baja Claws

I put some on my FJ last weekend. OMG! We went wheeling in Rausch Creek PA and they did awesome. I'm very happy with them. I was told by a couple of people to definately keep them rotated. And I won't get alot of mileage out of. They look good and work great.

Re: Mickey Thompson Baja Claws

I will be upgrading to the Claws when my MTZs wear out.

Yep! That is a tent. I can't believe I didn't take a picture of it open. It is really cool, I thought we might have some issues with wheeling with it up there but we didn't.

Re: Mickey Thompson Baja Claws

I heard that the compound in the claws are quite a bit softer than the MTZ's, so they'll wear out quite a bit quicker on the pavement........is that true?

What size? I'm looking at 28575R16, I have the Donahoe lift.

33X12.50R17 I have a 2" Old Man Emu lift. They fit fine. I was worried about rubbing but I didn't have this past weekend while wheeling. I'm really impressed with the tire. It is a soft compound. My hubby says I'll be lucky if I get 15,000 miles out them, we'll see. I hope it will be better than that.

Re: Mickey Thompson Baja Claws

JAXTOY, what type of terrain will you be wheeling, where are you located, are these going to be dedicated offroad tires or your main tires. No one tire is perfect for everything, depends on intended usage.

Re: Mickey Thompson Baja Claws

Are those black chrome pro comp wheels? If so, how do you like them?
