how much should i expect for tires?

i have 4 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO 265/75/16 with around 9,000 miles on them and 1 with no miles on it, how much money should i expect to get for all these tires if i were to sell them?

Re: how much should i expect for tires?

They go for $157 new.

$80 per tire is pretty fair. If you were to trade them in I would be amazed if you got $40 per tire.

Re: how much should i expect for tires?

Why is it that no one uses their spare????

Have your tire guys do a five tire rotation and you will get more life out of your tires.

If you do not here is what happens:

Tires are bad after 5 years from date of manufacture, so you go five years with a perfect spare and then you have to get rid of it and never get any use. Or, you put it on and the rubber is bad and you have a blowout and no spare.

Use the spare!!!!!

Re: how much should i expect for tires?

the 5 tire rotation sounds like a good idea but my purpose in selling the tires was to get new ones like the mickey thompson baja mtz radials. Does anyone have any input on them?? How much did u pay for them, if u have them?? i figure that im not gettin much for my tires considering how many miles there are on them

Re: how much should i expect for tires?

If your not going to lift it why get new tires now???

If you are going off road get a bumper, winch and sliders.

Than get skids, lift kit, wheels and tires, second mortgage, CB, rear bumper, CAI, roof rack with lights, upgraded stereo, roof tent, ect, ect, ect.

Re: how much should i expect for tires?

If you every plan to lift, do that first. Then you can get BIGGER tires. BFGs will serve you well until then.

$75-80 per on Craigslist if you really want to sell them. Not many tires dealers will take a trade with that many miles.
