I think the best 31s are the BF Goodrich All terrains. Can't do 33s without a lift.

Seen a few posts (here and elsewhere) where people have put 33's without a problem...http://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=90098

That's good to know. I think there's a lot of conflicting info out there. I've been reading where you can't put them on. At least this is proof that you can - although it looks pretty tight in that front wheel well.

Why are 33's a problem when stock is 32's. Seems that there is plenty of clearance to jump up one tire size.....I could see your point if you were jumping up to 35's or larger. Can anyone provide concrete evidence as to why you can not upgrade to 33's without susp. mods?

I do plan on doing the suspension mods. but I was hoping to get the tires sooner (same day as purchase). Then I would drop it off in the shop to have the suspension mods. done. They want 2 days to do the susp. mods. so I was hoping to take care of the tires first and knock it off of the "to do" list. Any one have any imput on this one...feel free to chime in.

Re: Anyone put 33's yet? What's stock?

The apparent problem was/is a bulge(frame?) in the back of the front wheel wells. The clearance tolerance is very small when the wheel is turned. Someone on here loaded some pictures after putting new tires on to show the clearance gap.

Thanks for the info. I guess it is off to the shop for suspension BEFORE I stop by the tire shop.

so is it a problem or not. You said no rubbing right? even at full lock. What about when you turn the wheel all the way right/left. Thought I read somewhere that there is a problem rubbing when you go full left?

Anyways, your rig looks great and thanks a million for posting those pics.
So if no lift is required for 33", then will 35" fit with a 3" lift? (revtek, i'm thinking, but it shouldn't matter), I lift is a lift to a certain extent. Thanks
