Post ProComp Wheels: 18 x 8 w/5" BS: Clearance problems eminent?

Hello,

We've all seen a go-zillion questions on wheels and especially tire size. However, I for one have scarcely seen any rules on wheel backspacing limits or specs.

Question: Will an 18 x 8 with 5" backspacing:

1. cause problems with the stock FJ suspension?
2. Will that change when adding a tried and true OME 3" suspension lift?
3. Will 33" tires be the maximum size, regardless of backspacing?
4. Will my brakes need to be upgraded for 70 road/30 off-road use?

FYI: I considered a FabTech, but my local off-road shop highly discouraged buying their set-up.

Simple question...is there a simple answer?

BTW: I have not purchased the wheels yet. A friend is offering to sell me a set of 5 for a decent price, but I first need this forum's advice is the backspacing is correct, or not?

Experienced advice is much appreciated...

Maybe I should have referred to the tire and wheel calculator, because nobody seems to be interested in this thread.....
