Ebay, Craigslist or even here will be your best bet. I was quoted $125.00 from my dealer and that was going to be given to me at their price. Retail for them is like $145.00 each which is extremely expensive for a stock steel wheel. Hope this helps.
I purchased 5 new stock Toyota steelies from a vendor in Oklahoma on EBay. Price was $55.00 each. Shipping to SoCal with the "volume" purchase discount was VERY reasonable. Fast shipping.
I just had them powdercoated white (going for old school look) for about $45.00 each. They are in the garage just waiting to be put on after I add new coilovers and new shoes.

I bought from the same place and was able to do a local pick up of 5 steelies for 250 cash and no tax. Their warehouse was very impressive. The ebay listing makes the place look like a small mom and pop business, but they actually have over 300k wheels IN STOCK. There were three 18 wheel semis unloading at their docks when I got mine.
I bought 4 "take offs" (wheels taken off at the dealer so they could up grade) for $400 with the tires and then traded the tires in for $200. So it ended up being $50 each. They only had 4 at the time. When I went back to get the 5th they wanted $157 for the wheel!!! They wouldn't budge. Look at Wheeler off road black steel 16" wheels measured to fit specifically on the FJ. They're $65 and look good.

How many miles were on the wheels when you bought them? Or are these immediate dealer take-offs? I'd love to have the stock steels over my alloys.
Check with the accessories shop that y dour local dealers use. They always have "take-offs" in stock. Got 4 black stock steelies with brand new street tires for $200 (for all four) with center caps.
Just be patient, and check regularly. You'll save yourself a bunch of bucks.
The place is located in Rush Springs...about 45 min SW of OKC. All of my wheels still had the protective plastic film on them, so they were brand new. I swear, their warehouse was the size of a football field and stacked to the top with wheels of all types. They also have all the centercaps, but I picked mine up at my dealer as a freebie.
Please give the name or phone number or web-site for this place in Ok. I have been looking for steel wheels with very little luck.
Thanks, SSC
