General Grabber AT2...when I replace my stock tires this spring. These tires seem to compare well with good old BFG TAs, But check out the price!
I was quoted about $106 per tire, for snowflake rated 265 70r 17s. They also have a raised bead to help protect the rims from rocks. Seems like a good deal for good 60,000 mile AT tires.

If you can add my Dick Cepek Mountaincats to the list.
They are made for Les Schwab Tire Centers by Dick Cepek in the same molds or close to it to the Discoverer STTs by Cooper.
You know what would be excellent is if someone out there put all these tires, same size, on a machine that replicated the road and spun them up to various speeds (25, 40, 60mph) and took a noise reading so we could have objective data on that, that would be great, if anyone knows where thats been done let me know!
1st, you have had a great idea making this thread and have done alot of work, spendid job. 2cd, Cooper STT's for about 8 months. Great tire and alot of fun. I would have considered the ST's also.
