Re: New tires...do I need a lift?

I did a daystar leveling kit.....got 3 inches out of the front and 2 out of the rear. I run Silent armors at 275-70-17. Perfect setup IMO. I've had the truck at full lock fully articulated on both front and back and no rub.

Re: New tires...do I need a lift?

We had our 285/70/17s for a long time before the lift and had no issues. A tiny rub when we made a hard turn (like into a parking spot) but that was it.

"do i need a lift?" - no, but you know you want it....
"do i need bigger tires?" - no, but you know you want it....
"do i need a new bumper?" - no, but you know you want it....
"do i need some more lights?" - ......no......but..............must I go on??

Katfish,

Did you have the body mount chopped? You were running alloy wheels (right)?

Does anyone know if there is a difference in offset etc from oem alloy to the oem steelies?
