Thanks guys. Now I just need to get better with the impact wrench . Still takes me a while to swap tires.
You will have to come to the CORR races with me and do the tire change challange at Alan Pfluegers pit. My best time was 24+sec for a 37 BFG baja man that sucker is heavy the winner was 18+sec so stinken fast.

At lest you have air tools I dont' have any at my place.

That's on and off? Dang. I think I'm at 5 min. a tire and 30 min to clean up!

Those look great. Since my FJ is not a daily driver anymore, I am really considering going to an aggressive mud tire like that. The stock dunlops make the FJ appear castrated IMO. You definately turned it into a "man-truck" with those tires.

Thanks . It was painful to run stocker with the mods I had already. I'm already feeling like leaving them on there-even for daily driving (only a 15 mile each way commute).

Tony, I'd love to test your setup on a forklift to assess clearance at full turn / stuff. They're a limiting case for tire thinness.

I'd love to have it tested out too. I'll take some more pictures soon so you guys can see where the UCA and the tire is, the gap between bodymount and tire, etc. Mounts are not chopped. I'd prefer not to chop them if I don't have to. Going to hit Cleghorn (reverse) with Felonious tomorrow around noon. It's no forklift, but it'll give me some ideas.

I wish I could come, but I have a faculty meeting at noon

I'd be interested in knowing if you hit your upper wheel wells when going fast over the exit (for you) from Cleghorn, and also fast over the early portion climbing up from the lake.

I'm not sure you'll get any place on Cleghorn that really tests the full turn / stuff situation. One rarely ever does on most trails.

Fast? Did you say fast to me? I'm never fast.

I'll try and try to stuff it. Charging the camera as we speak.
