Spidertrax Wheel Spacers

what does every body think about using these, good bad or indifferent, will they help me fit 285/70/17 tires under a stock height ride with no rub? or will they allow me to not chop anything after lift? :

Spidertrax Wheel spacers 1 1/4" thick

Hub Centric (Late Model)

These 1.25" 6 on 5.5" 6061T6 aluminum spacers are an easy way of spacing out front and rear late model Toyota axles that run hub centric wheels (lug nut seating surface is square as apposed to conical). Each kit comes with 2 wheel spacers, 12 metric M12x1.5 wheel studs (pre-installed), 12 M12x1.5 lugnuts, and Loctite. The wheel spacers are anodized in dark blue, which is a double anodizing process for twice the corrosion resistance. In addition, each wheel spacer is both wheel & hub centric for a perfect OEM fit. Proudly manufactured in the United States of America.

Spidertrax Wheel Spacer Kit
• Fits the following vehicles:
- 1980-Up 4 Runner (w/o Locking Hubs)

Re: Spidertrax Wheel Spacers

Wheel spacers will only help you to clear the
brake calipers with some 16" rims, and give
you a wider track width, it will not help you
fit bigger tires, but in fact, cause more of
a rub, and the need for the body mount chop...

Re: Spidertrax Wheel Spacers

I ordered these to get my "stance" a bit wider after I put the lift on. I went this route so I did not need to change wheels since they are fairly new.

Re: Spidertrax Wheel Spacers

Not sure if they help against rub, but I installed mine for my 16's ... Nice wide stance.

They should'nt. I'm running 265/70/17 tires on 8.5" wheels with 4.5" backspacing and -6mm offest. Adding the spacers will give me +25 or about 1" more width. I will post more when I get them put on.

Re: Spidertrax Wheel Spacers

Any info on failure of the spacers? That's the only thing that spooks me about these things.

Re: Spidertrax Wheel Spacers

Been running my spidertrax's for 1 1/2 years
now, not one problem at all, never even came
loose... I believe Mir007 has ran these HARD
on his rig with zero issues also, along with all
the others here on the forum... They are really
considered Hub Adapters/Extensions, not
spacers...

Spacers are bad, since they leave you with less
threads for you lugs...
