My new BFG AT's

I finally got my new tires and rims installed. My FJ was originally purchased with 20" BBS rims. I now have some of the stock alloys with BFG AT 285/70/17's. Maybe I can do some offroading now
I don't have lift, but the tires give the truck some lift. I had to raise the truck about an inch or more to get them on I suspect it is roughly 1" of lift over the other tires. They fit well with no rubbing.

I also got a spare too.

Thanks to member spincycle for selling me the stock alloys.

To any person that is researching purchasing the BFG's, they are great. I can't really tell any difference from my street tires that were on before it. The only difference is that they seem to float compared to the street tires. It isn't that noticeable though. I was quite surprised how quiet they are.

Wow, 285/70/17's fit without even rubbing at all on stock suspension?

Re: My new BFG AT's

Looks good. Test them out a little before your offroad trip. They might rub when you articulate the suspension. You've gained about 1/2 inch of ground clearance with these tires (over stock).
