Help: Tire upgrade on TRD SE 16" Wheel

I'm getting close to buying new rubber for the FJ but I still haven't made up my mind. I currently have the TRD SE 16" Rim with the BFG AT KO in 265/75 R16.

I'm considering:

285/75 R16
Or
295/75 R16

Can anyone share pics of their FJ with 16s? and state the tire size?

Anyone have an opinion on these sizes? Or do you have a completely different recommendation for me.

I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. Did you have to body chop? Nice looking rig.

Re: Help: Tire upgrade on TRD SE 16" Wheel

285/75r16 cooper mt's on trd's after a light dusting about a month ago.

do you have a lift?
i'm not sure if either size would fit without one - i have a 3" all-pro lift and have not done the body mount chop and on rare occasions with extreme wheel turn i hear rubbing, without the lift i don't think there'd be enough clearance save for the smoothest of paved roads.

cheers.

No body chop required. I have no rubbing at all on or off road.

MTs are so nice. Thanks.

With the samples so far, I don't think I need to mess with 295s.

I think I'll shoot for 285/75 R16 Nitto Terra Graplers.

Thanks everyone!
