Yeah, I posted something similar to this once. Lots of looks, but not much info.

Re: Other Toyota OEM wheels that fit the FJ?

Yeah, let me try this again, what Toyota OEM wheels will clear the FJ's brake calipers?

I know other 6X5.5 OEM wheels will fit the bolt pattern, but which will clear the brake calipers?

For example, in the post of 'all tires and wheels' I saw an FJ w/ the Sequoia split 5 stars that fit as well as the TRD Ivan's.

When reading thru the post I've seen where the OEM wheels are on the light side and fairly cheap (ebay). So I figure why not use them as a beater.

I know FJamming (Tony) is running Tacoma rims on the Genie.

I think they look great, and they are cheap...

Yes he is running those, and I bought a set as well after discussing w him, but they do require the 1.5" spacers to clear the caliper.

The spacers were needed to clear the UCA. They clear the calipers without issues. I think the best bet is to go to toyotanation or ttora and ask about wheel specs of stock wheels. You'll find much more info there. I would look into Sequoia, Land Cruiser, Tacoma, 4Runner, and Tundra wheels. Go to the specific forums and you'll find answers much more rapidly and probably more accurate too. Good luck. If you happen to compile a list, please share with us.

Re: Other Toyota OEM wheels that fit the FJ?

Jeshua is a using a special edition Toyota wheel on his rig.

I forgot which one.

I really like this approach for upgrades. You same tons of money by buying used from another Toyota owner and you still get a sense of a "different" look.

If you go the extra mile to paint it......it look very aftermarket.

If powder coating were cheaper, that would be the cherry on top.

My Bad, thanks for correcting me Tony! I will also be painting mine black, with Sun Fusion yellow center caps and a red toyota emblem to match the Coyote's color scheme. I'll post pics as they get setup.

Oo, that sounds interesting. Post up a pic when you are finished?

I'll check out the other forums tonight. I think it's time to compile a list. I'll assist you if you are going to put it together permaneo.
