BFG M/T KM2 mileage

I know they are an "OFF ROAD" tire but what kind of mileage can I expect out of a set of BFG M/T KM2's. Found a good deal on 5 ($900), I use my FJ for work & since Jan. I have 8600 on it. I like the tire in general but they don't seem overly expensive any where I see them- seems like A/T & M/T cost more, could this be due to demand?

Re: BFG M/T KM2 mileage

I have a set of KM2s but too new to tell you any mileage. I have them mounted on a second set of rims and only put them on the rig to go wheeling.

5 KM2's for $900??? Are they used?? I live in PA too, so please tell me where you found that deal and I'll buy every KM2 that they have in stock at that price. I'll put them on ebay that same day and make $50 on each tire. (I'll keep 5 for myself, of course)

Re: BFG M/T KM2 mileage

i bought mine at Costco's, $190.00 each for 35 x 12.5 x 17.
There was a $50.00 rebate, mounting included in price.
Mileage is about 13 in the city, 16 hiway, take into consideration TRD supercharged.

Awesome tire, quiet and grippy!
Highly recommend!-Bill

Re: BFG M/T KM2 mileage

PENROSE I sent info in PM to you. The tires are on ebay/used with 200 miles on them. I don't think I could tell them from new. Start bid is $850,I think, 0 bids with about 5 day's to go. Not sure if I'll be bidding, not sure I need that much tire, but damn they look good. I use my FJ for work & since late Jan. racked up 10,000mi.I don't want to burn them right up in a month or two.

Re: BFG M/T KM2 mileage

BTW in stock trim I'm avg. a little over 18mpg. But I don't care about MPG-here's the kicker- My Co. pay's ALL of my gas, I have not put 1c of my own money in, I even run super every now & then(I sure I'll hear about that sooner or later). In fact I get a vei. allow., & my FJ only cost's me $85.00 a month out of my own pocket. Life is good.
