Tire Pressure Sensor Help New Wheels

I just got my 08 with the offroad package. I want to unload the rims and install Procomp 7089's. How do I transfer the sensors to the new wheels?
Do they stick or bolt on? I was unable to find any info in the search function.

Another option is to leave the sensors off the new wheels. Will I get an indicator light if the sensors are not present?

Info on both solutions would be much appreciated.

Your 08 has TPMS.

This is what 99% of all TPMS look like

What happens when you disable the tire pressure sensors?

As for the spare... I do not remember how long it took. I had South East Toyota 18" Enkie rims with wide tires but the spare was original. I took the spare off and left it at the dealer and they gave me the right spare but the TPMS would not fit so I had to wait a couple of days until they got one in for an alloy wheel. All I remember is that the light went on and stayed on until I returned it to toyota.

Re: Tire Pressure Sensor Help New Wheels

Be sure and post the 16's up for sale as new. They are in demand, in some circles.. Ron

Re: Tire Pressure Sensor Help New Wheels

What size and offset do I need to directly replace my 16" OF package wheels? Is the bore size the same between pressure sensor stems and standard black rubber ones?
What I am asking is:

Can I just swap the original tires( BFG rugged) and sensors over to the 7089's with no modifications?

Thanks for the help.
