Ultra Wheels-Magnus

Has anyone seen this wheel before?

I think that it would be perfect for the FJC, but I can't find out if it fits or not, does anyone know? I've already emailed Ultra Wheels, and am waiting on a response.

Re: Ultra Wheels-Magnus

From Gary at Ultra:
"The Magnus wheels starts at 18" and larger. The wheels are in production and starting to arrive daily. The only way to get a set is order them and get in line. Hope this answers your questions..."

My response:
"Thanks, the 18” works, but will it fit the FJ Cruiser with that bolt pattern and backspacing? Or are you making them basically made to order?"

Re: Ultra Wheels-Magnus

Are you running stock 6 spoke alloys, or steelies?

If you have alloys, have you thought about painting or powdercoating?

Re: Ultra Wheels-Magnus

I have the alloys, but I plan to keep the stock set up in case, for some reason, I have to sell or trade in the FJ. I've had a few friends in the car industry and you always get a better resale value for a stock vehicle.

Response from Gary at Ultra:

"The 18" is 9" wide. They will be fat but with a +10 offset. This will be a call you will have to make. They are not build to order but customers are waiting for them to arrive. You will have to have standing order to get them.

We dont sell factory direct. Please call 877 924-7663 and Jim can quote pricing. Thanks"

Re: Ultra Wheels-Magnus

I got a quote from WheelWarehouse:

Sorry bud I forgot you were looking for 5 wheels, I quoted you for 4.The 17" are not out yet,I was just told it will be end of the year before they come out.18" will be in in about 45 days.I can do 5 of those with nitto's 275/65/18 a/t but you might have to level out the front end with a ready lift kit wich we sell for $225.00.Any ways I can do them for $1700.00 plus shipping.

Wheels Rims and Tires. Custom Chrome Wheels 20 22 Inch Rims

---Shipping would be about $225.

My question is, do I need to level my FJ out if I get these tires, or will they ride fine/no rub?

Re: Ultra Wheels-Magnus

Those look tough.. Not sure about the +10, that should move the wheel In towards the frame by ~ 1/2". Might have a set of spacers on hand just in case. I like the look though.
