What size wheels do I need?

Hey Everyone,

Sorry for the newbie question. What size wheel do I need to fit these tires?

5 BFG All Terrains : only 400 street miles

I am interested in the Dick Cepek DC-1's.

Would you recommend a different tire for these wheels? I do light/moderate off road.

Thanks for the help!!

Correcto! Though 16X8 will do as well.

this would be up to you and your wallet. but IMO, the BFG's are a great tire. they should suit you well for your off roading pleasure. but again, it is entirely up to you.

If your running mud often I would go with a different set of tires. However, any other type of wheeling they do well. The price on those bfg's is a great price. U will love the DC-1's they look great especially in person. I think the BFG's are recommended for a 7-8.5 inch wheel. The DC'1s are 16x8's which will be fine for that tire. Are you getting the polished or black?

I was thinking polished but I really like the black too. I also really like this setup:
Post of all Rims and tires out there!

WHeels:
Panther EMR 440
17x9" 4.5" backspacing

Tires:
33x12.50R17
Mickey THompson Baja Claws

I assume that this needs a lift and a body mount chop. Am i right?

With a 9 inch rim and that width of tire you will need the chop. Is this the panther wheel:

Nice Rig!!

So I need the chop. What about a lift? Can I get away without one?

Re: What size wheels do I need?

No lift or chop required to run the 265's on a 16x8 wheel.....
