Re: Toyota's Special Service Campaign (SSC)--60D For 2007 FJ Cruiser
My 5 stock Dunlop Grandtrack's were courteously replaced this morning at the Elway dealership in Denver. Since I had read Tire Rack's critique and found them marginal in the snow traction area, I recently had all 5 tires siped for additional traction. Amazingly, Discount Tire offered to sipe my new 5 tires at no cost when I told them about my unfortunate timing of the siping and recall.
Since I have additional stock black, steel wheels as well, I looked on the tire website to see what was offered as snow tires. I couldn't find anything, so a-siping I will go....
ps..it's probably not related, but I continue to get 21-23 mpg with my 4x4 AT, no roof rack, 91 octane-using FJC.

Thank you for those comments.
We're all consumers, and so it is not too difficult for TMS USA to understand the frustration that our own customers can experience if there is inconsistent communication on an important product issue. We're a multi-faceted organization from our parent company in Japan, to the U.S. HQ here in SoCal, to our regional offices across the country and to our 1400 dealers. But to consumers and our customers, we're Toyota, and thus we must work hard to collaborate on everything and ensure we're doing everything we can to talk to our external contacts—consumers, customers, FJCruiserForums members—with a consistent voice.
TMS USA believes this kind of participation and engagement by a company directly with an online forum filled with enthusiasts—our customers and other fans, for heaven's sake—is a win/win for all. Certainly by example of today's dialog at many different levels, we've demonstrated the real value of consumer generated media participation by and for us all.
BTW, attached is a revised copy of that operations process flow document that may be useful.

Just had my tires changed out thanks to this thread. Thank you TMS USA. By the way if any of you are in Socal near Cerritos and need service (on any Toyota) I recommend Power Toyota, they provide excellent customer service.

YES TMS_USA,
THANKS VERY MUCH for the info on this !!!!
My FJC has the right VIN#, but the DOT#'S are good... So THIS Saved Me a waisted trip to the dealer that would delay me being at work when we are under mandatory OT...
