nothing else compares in price...the best you will get for the $. They handle Great but mine have only been on for 1 day...I need to be on them longer to give you a better answer. Yes I have a lift too 3" Donahoe and there is nothing better than this lift!

Re: Tires - Hankook Dynapro MT RT03

Thanks for the info here. I just placed an order on the 265/70 R17's yesterday from Discount tire in Denver. Should run about $167 per tire with mounting and balance. Discount's web sales had them listed for $147 without mounting.

I really debated about getting these tires as not many of my trail buddys have had much experience with Hankook. The pics posted here have really helped with my decision. I'm impressed with those side biters.

Now to order that Donahoe Racing front coil-over kit... on to another thread I go!

Found these on a post here. PM'd Joe to see if he could provide us with some good feedback on how the Kooks have performed

Well, I finally got my lift done and added new tires. I kept the original factory wheels for now, mainly because I couldn't find anything that I liked well enough to purchase. I think I will eventually go with a set of WalkerEvans wheels. The tires are Hankook DynaPro MT RT03's. I really like them. Added noise is next to nothing and they handle great! I think they look pretty good as well.

Anyway, here are a couple pics of the rig, together with one from an offroad drive that we took this afternoon. Enjoy!

How about a 1 month update Delp Have you used them off-road. If so in what kinda conditions and how did they perform. On road performance, how about the wet?

Thanks, Guru

Re: Tires - Hankook Dynapro MT RT03

No FJ yet, 3 more days!!! , but will definitley be looking at the hankooks. I put a set on my daily commuter car - have 110 000kms on them and nowhere near the treadbar yet (think that would be about 65K Miles) very impressed. Tire shop here reccomends Hankooks above anything else regardless of price.

Hello,

When searching the forum for info on Dynapro RT03 Mud Terrain tires I saw some pics of your rig and see that you are using them. I also saw in your gallery pics that you have the donahoe coilover lift up front. I was just wondering what size tires you are running, if they rub, and if you trimmed your body mounts? Also how do the kook's handle wet roads?

I have the donahoe coilover lift coming and want to run the kook's in 285, but I also don't want to cut my body mounts so I am hoping they fit w/o cutting

Thanks for any insights you can provide!

Regards,
Alphonse

I cant say enough good about this tire.. Awsome in wet conditions I think that it is where this mud terrain shines amidst the rest. My only question about them is the life they will put out. They havent been on the market long enought to say how many miles you can really get out of them. I now have 3500 miles on them and they ride as smooth as the first day. That is usually the first comment i get from first time passengers.."Wow, this thing is smoother than i would have thought".

The size I have is 285/70/17 (33). I have no rubbing at all and my donahoes are not even up all of the way. You probably already know that the Donahoes are adjustable...I only have them adjusted up at 2 inches above stock. I offroad a lot with zero rub and no body mount trimming. I will probably buy this tire again when the time comes. Let me know what you do.

Re: Tires - Hankook Dynapro MT RT03

Well finally some $$ for tires and just wanted to get maybe a recent update from those of you who have the Hankooks. I really want to get MT's even though my rig is driven 90% on road and is my daily.

Have your Hankooks got any louder, how many miles on them now? In general, how much louder are they in comparisson to the OEM tires?

Re: Tires - Hankook Dynapro MT RT03

I have had my Hankook RT03s for about 3 weeks now and I have been very happy with them. No noise yet and the ride is better than I expected. They also worked out great last weekend at Grayrock ORV.

Re: Tires - Hankook Dynapro MT RT03

I am getting ready to order these tires as well from discounttire.com. I have yet to hear anything negative about them, with the possible exception that they are so new that nobody has put any real miles on them. But for the price, I think it is worth a flyer.
