First Service (5,000 mikes) Rotate tires?

Title says it all. Do I need to rotate the tires every 5,000 miles?

Thanks

Only if you want them to last as long as possible.

That is one of the most common reasons why tires wear prematurely. That plus alignment and air pressure. So, yes I would rotate them every 5000 or so. This will also prevent feathering or uneven tread block wear.
