good tires?

I was wondering if 35 inch nitto mud grapplers would be good for pretty much all terrain. I was also wondering if the tires being 14 inches wide interfere with trail riding. all feedback would be greatly appreciated

Re: good tires?

i was aimin for 17 inch rims, and i dont think i would put on any wheel spacers, or body chop unless i absolutly had too. I was also thinking a 6 inch rough country lift.

Re: good tires?

14-inch-wide tires are going to rub like crazy on your upper control arms (if you could mount them at all) without spacers. Seriously doubt that 35" would work without a body mount chop either.

Re: good tires?

X2, you're definitely gonna NEED a body mount chop to run those tires!!!

Re: good tires?

ive got 35's, 35x12.5, and with the lift, and spacers, have no rubbing issue..i would take a walk on the wild side, and say with a 14 tire, your GOING to having some rubbing, some where

14 inch wides will definitely interfere with trail riding. You'll need spacers to push them away from UCA and with them being so wide, it's going to be an issue with body mount and fenderwell. Are you going for looks or is there a specific terrain that's making you consider 14 wides? 14s will be very taxing on your suspension and steering and they'll likely fail prematurely.
