Re: Kumho MTKL71

gotta add another compliment - great looking treads - stock size looks really good with those sidewalls - they fill the wheelwells nicely. I just put some stock size toyo open country ATs on my alloys, and am very happy with them, but those Kumho's do look like they will serve you well!

They list a 285 on their site as an option. I went with the originals, they seem to fill the wheel wells much more than stock dunlops.
where...i did not see that size for 17inch wheels. Next size I saw that was a NEW size was 315x70x17 after the 265x70x17.

Go to Kuhmo's site... Kumho Tire USA - Light Truck - Mud Terrain select view printable spec sheet, you get all the sizes from the factory, may be special order but they seem to be availble. FYI I got the 10 plys...

Good luck...

Also will let you know how they perform, heading to NY this weekend on road trip so should be a good on road test.

Re: Kumho MTKL71

Update: From ATL to NY 900 plus miles first 5 hours in heavy rains, they performed like a champ. Averaged about 70-75 in the rain with out a hiccup and on some straights touched 80. So happy I have the PIAA's too... talk about vision. Not sure the folks behind me on the road liked that much, when I looked in the rearview mirror it looked like we were leaving our own storm behind us.

I'll write again when I have some more info.

Re: Kumho MTKL71

Ok folks just got back to ATL last night. I don't want to sound like the are the best tires in the world, but for me I think they are. Rain, snow, street all 5 star. next is off road and beach. But for now unless something goes horribly wrong will be a repeat purchase. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.

Re: Kumho MTKL71

thanks....when it comes to re rubber the BrickHouse will evaluate my wheeling expectations versus how my Terra Grapplers did over the years and see if I stay Terra Grapplers or go MT...

Thanks again.

Re: Kumho MTKL71

If you don't me asking, how much did you pay per tire and total?

Thanks,
Alex
