Goodyear Dura Trac Tires

Hi All

Anyone running these tires yet? They look like a good compromise between an AT and a MT. Any comments?

Re: Goodyear Dura Trac Tires

not sure about these
I am running the new MTR's and I am very impressed
they are very quiet on the street compared to the old style MTR ,with 30K+ on them
they do well off road even compared to Super Swampers as far as traction on dry dirt

If these hold in line with the new MTR as far as improvements then they should work good

Re: Goodyear Dura Trac Tires

The siping makes it look like they have made an effort to up the ice and water handling. A good thing to work toward for MT/AT tires.

Re: Goodyear Dura Trac Tires

I like them as well.. They have the kevlar sidewall like the MTR's don't they? Might be just the thing for street/trail (uber-AT) use.. Cheers.. Ron

Re: Goodyear Dura Trac Tires

Got mine put on today....no pics yet...I will try to get some tomorrow...I love the look of them...I will see in a couple weeks how well they do down in Moab....plus we still have some snowstorms coming in so I can see what these are like...I got the 285/70/17's I have and OME lift....I like the fact that they seem to be a combo of MT and AT....and since my FJ is a DD I need some good rubber on the road for where I live(Wasatch Mountains, Utah) and MT's never appealed to me...why? I don't know...

Re: Goodyear Dura Trac Tires

They do look aggressive for an AT. The sidewall looks like they'll have nice grip. If I were in the market for an AT tire, I might try these.
