Stock Alloy's question

Anyone know how heavy these are?

I'm looking at the wheelers offroad site and their steelies are 37lbs, while the alloy version is like 24 lbs. Just wondering how this compares to stock.

Re: Stock Alloy's question

The stock alloy's with 265/17 tires are 75 pounds each. I guess it would be close to half the weight for each, the tire and the wheel, but I'm not sure.

According to Tirerack.com the stock tires (Dueler H/T 840's & Grandtrek AT20) weigh the same at 40 lbs so the stock alloy rims must weigh 35 lbs. That is if the above is correct and you have the stock tires.

Man I just can't see the stock alloys of 17 x 7.5 weighing more than 30lbs. I would think like 28lbs or so.

Re: Stock Alloy's question

I got my info from the guy I sold my stock wheels and tires to. He had to pay for shipping, so I assume he has the correct weight.

I have a set I am shipping, and in the box they weigh 34 lbs each - the box is maybe a pound at most...
