Post A Place to Stay

Just in case anyone's still looking, I know of a room that recently opened up at the Ouray Hotel.

Dale, the owner, is a great guy.....first class service....very friendly and attentive. We were really looking forward to staying at his place again like we did last year for Summit week, but something else came our way that we can't turn down.

UPDATE:
As of right now (late Mondy morning, the 29th), they are full.
Sorry for neglecting to follow-up on that fact here in this thread earlier.

Re: A Place to Stay

Hi, Steve.
I know....definitely looking forward to it on this end as well. Of course, the Summit trails can't really do BMRA justice, but the beauty is off the charts.

The room we had reserved at the Ouray Hotel was going to be $55 per night. Not sure about the others.

Well, we'll see you in 3 or 4 weeks, depending on when you get to Ouray (we'll be there on the 3rd).

Re: A Place to Stay

In case any one is looking, I just cancelled out of two rooms in the Best Western - my long string of not making the Summit continues...

"<Simplify the world to a ridiculous degree, then state as a pithy one sentence quote to create illusion of deep insight>" - <insert attribution>

"The English, lacking a soul of their own, must move through the world in search of those of others." - paraphrased Bedouin judgement, as related by Colin Thubron.
