Being 15 sucks so bad. I will be going to the two Skyline trips right after my birthday. And these Moab runs after my lift kit. See you on the trails!

We are leaving from Oak Ridge and taking I40 straight to Vegas then up to Salt Lake to see friends and family before Ouray.

Coming back we are going straight south from Ouray to I40. Then due east.
Anyone want to caravan back with us???

There's a good chance I just might meet up with you guys. Im coming from Mass.. I have to figure out how long it's going to take me to get to Nashville. Never been to MOAB or the Summitt but I hear it's amazing. I planned on going there while I was out in the area anyway, might as well go with a bunch of fellow FJers.

Hello fellow FJ'rs,
I planned on leaving the 18th from WV but might like to get some time in at Moab with a group so getting out a few days early (15th) is always an option. Do you plan on camping your way out or staying in a motel? I'm bringing my family and had planned on camping.....

It's time to start planning

We will be leaving out of Nashville, TN on July 15th around noon for Moab, UT. The route will be I-24 to I-57 to I-64 to I-70. Wheel Moab July 17th though midday July 20th, then leave for Ouray.

Anybody is welcome to join us.
Well since you are coming up to I-64 which runs out of Louisville we are looking at joining your convoy at around St Louis so maybe we could get some lunch there or we could meet up there. Hey also was that your FJ I just seen in the new petersons 4wd mag??? Thanks and talk to ya later

Re: Offical Southeast Convoy to Moab and then to the Summit

I am trying to plan my move to Oregon during the Summit. Figure I'd let the good 'ole government pay for my Summit trip this year. I'll see how things work out and get back with ya.

Re: Offical Southeast Convoy to Moab and then to the Summit

Count me in. Chief Red Joe has to work while I am in Moab but will be flying into Denver for the Summit.

Trust me 70 is SOOOOOOO MUCH better than 40. I just did a trip to Utah. I did 40 out and 70 back. 40 has super potholes in Arkansas and lots of slow spots in Oklahoma. Unless you are looking for a casino 70 is the better route.

We usually drive until we all get tired and then find a decent hotel to spend the night in.
