Im doing close to that route myself. Ill be coming from my sisters house in Denver, and will be stopping at a couple places in Bailey. I grew up there and want to show my wife and kids my old stomping grounds. Its much different than Hellizona I live in now. I might catch you all on the road.
If your taking the 285 to get there let me know what rout, I would say lets start our own convoy but I plan on camping somewhere down there on the 20th.

Just as a feeler, who could head out on the 20th? Im a trail leader again this year and want to get some early runs in so im thinking if heading out a day early. If anyone wants to join me they are more than welcome to. We will be taking the same rout as the original convoy just one day before.
I'd be down to meet you guys somewhere down there I plan on camping down there on the 20th but was going to take 285 as it's easier on my gas and rear...I plan on hitting the trails a lot while I'm up there....maybe do Red mountain on the 20th, I wanna see it at dusk!!!!!

Re: 4th Annual Official "Awesome convoy through Scenic Colorado"

that would be pretty sweet. 285 is a good route as well.... they both take around the same time and its always fun to go in a group. ill let you know if we head that way. still in the planning stages right now

I got the power, want to see something in 3D? im your huckleberry!

stop working hard for your ideas make them work hard for you. imagine one improvement and find 3 more things it can also do.

We would like to join in. Probably going to meet up in Buena Vista as we are coming from Denver.

Re: 4th Annual Official "Awesome convoy through Scenic Colorado"

I met up with you guys at Johnsons Corner outside BV last year. Would love to do that again. I'm coming from Lousiville and will take 93 south through Golden and then hop onto 285 South, but I'm happy to meet up with some Denver folks for the leg to Buena Vista.

I want to leave at 4:00AM on the 21st, but I might just join the caravan. If I do join I'll be connecting with 285 in Conifer.

Re: 4th Annual Official "Awesome convoy through Scenic Colorado"

I will be traveling from Colorado Springs to Moab the Sunday before the Summit and was looking to take the most scenic route. Would this be the route to take and what places should I make sure I see along the way? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
